- Your shared hosting websites and databases are hosted across a cluster of servers. Even if a single component were to fail, a secondary one would immediately take over, keeping your website fully functional.
- Your data and applications are synchronised separately to our two data centres. The data and applications on the primary server cluster are mirrored live onto another server cluster in our secondary data centre. While other hosts can only pull a backup for you while service is restored, 1&1 simply switches over to the live duplicate.
